Buying a firearm online? M&M Guns & Supplies makes your transfer process simple, secure, and hassle-free.

FFL Transfers – How It Works:

1. Purchase Your Firearm
Buy from your preferred retailer and select M&M Guns & Supplies in St. Peters, MO as your FFL dealer at checkout.
We only accept firearm shipments from other licensed FFL dealers.

2. Shipment & Notification
Your firearm is shipped to us. Once it arrives and is logged in, we’ll contact you.

3. In-Store Paperwork
Bring a valid government-issued ID with your current Missouri address and complete ATF Form 4473.

4. Background Check
We run your background check through the FBI’s NICS system (most are approved within minutes).

5. Pickup
After approval, pay the transfer fee and take your firearm home.

New firearm transfer fee $50.00 per serial number.

Pre-Owned firearm, stripped reciever or frame $35.00 per serial number.

NFA Transfers (Suppressors, SBRs, etc.)

We also assist with NFA item transfers and paperwork.

1. Purchase Your NFA Item
Buy from a licensed dealer and have it shipped to M&M Guns & Supplies (FFL/SOT required).

2. Complete ATF Paperwork
We use Silencer Shop for all ATF paperwork and we can help with this process.

3. Tax Stamp Submission
Submit your application.

4. ATF Approval Process
Approval times vary and can take several months.

5. Final Transfer & Pickup
Once approved, we’ll contact you to complete the final paperwork and pick up your NFA item and pay your NFA Transfer fee of $150.00.

Firearm Transfer & Storage Policy

Thank you for choosing M&M Guns and Supplies as your receiving FFL dealer. To keep the process smooth for everyone, please review our transfer and storage policy below.

Pickup Timeline

Once your firearm arrives at our store, we will notify you by phone, text, or email. Please plan to complete your ATF Form 4473 and NICS background check, pay any applicable transfer fee, and take possession of your firearm within 30 days of that notification.

Storage Fees

Firearms not picked up within 30 days of arrival notification are subject to a storage fee of $[20.00] per week, beginning on day 31. Storage fees must be paid in full before your firearm can be released.

Unclaimed Firearms

If a firearm remains unclaimed 90 days after arrival, and after reasonable attempts to reach the buyer of record by phone, email, and/or written notice, M&M Guns and Supplies may deem the firearm abandoned in accordance with Missouri law. Abandoned firearms may be returned to the shipping FFL/retailer or sold to recover accrued transfer and storage fees. Any proceeds remaining after fees and costs are satisfied will be held for the rightful owner, who may contact us to claim them.

Federal Requirements Still Apply

Regardless of how a firearm is acquired into our inventory, all sales are subject to a completed ATF Form 4473 and NICS background check as required by federal law.
